Business Development Representative - Dublin

Working in a fast paced, target driven environment, our Business Development Representatives (BDRs) are responsible for researching and generating leads and opportunities to acquire new clients.
About the Role
This role involves conducting extensive market research to identify target industries and companies, utilising various tools and databases to gather information about potential leads, and reaching out to them through cold calling, emails, and social media to generate interest and establish relationships.
Working closely with the Regional Sales Director, the BDR will align their strategies and optimise their efforts to drive revenue growth for the company.
This is a two-year career pathway opportunity leading to the role of Business Development Manager. If you're eager to develop into a BDM, with ongoing training and support, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Over the course of two years, we expect BDRs to build the skills, experience, knowledge, and confidence needed to engage in direct sales conversations with qualified leads, addressing their unique needs and successfully closing deals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate meetings for the Regional Sales Director
- Build a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
- Qualify inbound leads through telephone, email, social media or webchat.
- Ensure all administration for each lead is up to date on our CRM system.
- Provide insights and feedback to the team, sharing market trends, customer preferences, and competitor analysis.
- Ensure you build knowledge and experience to make the move the BDM.
About you
- B2B sales experience - proven ability to achieve sales targets
- IT literate, experienced working with Excel
- Ambitious and hungry to earn commission
- Resilient with a positive attitude
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Good verbal and written presentation skills
- Able to conduct initial qualification calls and asking probing questions to determine if a lead meets the criteria for becoming a qualified opportunity.
- Salesforce CRM experience preferable but no essential
